Make a Second Partition On Your Macintosh Hard Drive To Test The Beta OS X by Disk Utility

It is the alternative way if you just have single Hard drive on your machine but you wanna try and enjoying the beta OS X. One important thing you must remember, "Don't install a Beta Software on Primary Machine before you know its bugs and that OS is save for you or not".
Let's go to the Disk Utility from your Applications folder.

After the Disk Utility opened, click on your Hard drive on the left box. Then go the "Partition" tab on the right and click plus symbol (+).
Drag the line up or down between the primary partition and the new partition to adjust the new size you want. Next, rename your new partition to ease you later. After that, click apply on the bottom and you will be waiting. 

After shrinking disk was finish, now you ready install the beta OS X in it.
You may enable the debug menu of Disk Utility by type this command below on Terminal.

defaults write com.apple.DiskUtility DUDebugMenuEnabled 1


Press Enter or Return. If you wanna it back to default, just type same command and change the number 1 into 0.
